And 2007 begins....
Happy new year! Let's hope it's a good one, without any fear. I have a lot of things planned this year....we'll see how many of them I actually complete! I just had a 10-day break. What did I do with my 10-day break? Squandered it, of course, messing around and not really accomplishing anything. Well, I suppose I did do the dishes. But somewhere, deep down, I must have needed a break from responsibility and achievement.
I found this silly superhero/supervillain personality test on Wil Wheaton's blog. Here are my results:
You are Iron Man
Inventor. Businessman. Genius.

Hi there Jun. Your a pro, so I thought I'd ask you rather than actually do the searching for myself...
What do you use to record your ingame video clips? I have a character on my blog [www.plan4.tv] that shows up from time to time called, the Mysterious Man in the Fire. I want to chroma key him in to some WoW footage for an upcoming bit.
MMIF reads reader Email occasionaly. Here is the first video we did with him. It was based on a table leg I found that looked like a war club.

You can probably find the rest if you were inclined to look at my other vids. Thanks. Oh, I found you via Wil Wheaton and am quickly becoming an rabid fan.
Hi chad! What we use is a capture program called Fraps (www.fraps.com), and it costs about 40 bucks, but is well worth it when you're a machinima filmmaker. It supports pretty high resolutions. An alternative way to go is to snag a copy of wowmapview, which shows all the in-game locations (if you have the game installed on your computer), although this is a user hacked program and therefore buggy and unsupported. I have also heard that gamecam is another widely used capture program, but I haven't used it so I can't vouch for it.
