Keepin' it brief...story still proceeds ahead; we have had a minor screening of Act 1 and part of Act 2 recently; just threw it up there really quickly to see what we got. There were a lot of notes (including a lot from me), but overall they were helpful - we have learned a lot about what kind of film it ultimately needs to become. On to the next phase! Also, my studio - might as well say it, it's Imagi Studios - will have a big booth at the Anime Expo in Los Angeles in a couple of weeks. I've never been to this one; even though they are featuring our OTHER movie at the moment I still will probably wander by to check it out. Besides, Cosplayers are insanely fun to gawk at. :D

Thanks so much for the update...I was beginning to worry when I saw news on the "other film", and nothing on this project! I am insanely curious about how things are going. Hope to see you at Comicon!
Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear that you took lots of notes, and I'm eagerly waiting to see what you have in store for us (when you're able to reveal a bit more). Hope to see you at ComiCon in San Diego as well!

Well I'm sure it will turn out well in the end. I trust your ability.
Keep up with your positive attitude.

With less than a week before the San Diego Comic Con starts, I guess it's fairly unlikely that Imagi will make any official announcement regarding you and "The Film That Must Not Be Named" before the con starts. *Sigh*
Regardless, I have noticed that Imagi will have a booth at the convention. While I realize that the booth will be 95% focused on Astro Boy, I'm hoping that the other 5% will be dedicated to "TFTMNBN."
Fans of the TV version of said unnamed production have been gathering at the Comic Con every year since 1997, and we're all hoping that they will have *something* on the film there. It would be a wonderful opportunity for the studio to generate some positive advance buzz among the fan community, and I'd hate to see Imagi miss out of the chance.
So, perhaps you could remind the people running the booth that we'll be there, and that it would be nice if they'd dedicate at least a small portion of the booth to their future project.
Of course, if you're going to be attending the convention yourself, we'd love to hear what, if anything, you can say about the project! We'll be pretty easy to recognize, since we'll all be wearing T-shirts that will pretty well identify us as the diehard fans that we are...
